How I got to know Colin....

I've been a Colin fan for quite some time.
I started listening to him back in 1988 when his first album was released. I think I must have been about ten years old.(That makes me old now). As a teenager back in Ottawa, Ontario, where I am from, I collected all of his albums. Three years ago I was fortunate to meet Colin at the Ottawa Tulip Festival, an annual festival held in the Nation's Capital.(For more info, visit www.tulipfestival.ca) I got my National Steel CD autographed, and a photo of me with him. Colin was super nice, very charming. I love listening to Colin's music because I think it is so cool that he is a very eclectic artist in the fact that he is able to change musical styles on almost every one of his albums. It is my hope that Colin will continue to wow fans with his amazing diversity, and that he will garner more attention outside Canada.
